CodeBrave is seeking a Robotics Intern to assist the Robotics Trainer in teaching classes for youth aged 8-17. The Intern will be responsible for helping guide students through fun, project-based classes that build their confidence, resilience, teamwork skills and motivation to learn.
The Robotics Intern will:
Assist the Robotics Trainer during classes, including workshops on Sunday mornings that focus on longer term projects for external exhibition.
Support the development of the Mechatronics side of CodeBrave’s curriculum, with support from the Robotics Trainer, Content Managers, and external partners and advisors, including Microsoft.
Participate in teacher training, both technical and pedagogical.
Proven experience of technical skills in robotics / mechatronics, in particular Arduino and C++.
Enrolled in Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or related field preferable, but not essential.
Experience teaching children preferable but not essential.
Ability to motivate youth.
Reliability and consistency is essential.
